
Apple TV is designed to play digital content from any Mac or Windows computer running iTunes onto an enhanced - or HD - television. It houses the latest streaming technologies - 802.11n - which are capable of streaming incredibly detailed HD content.

Apple TV can be told to auto-sync with your iTunes
library and copy the content to it's local 40GB or
160GB hard drive, therefore being able to broadcast
digital content without the necessity of being conencted to the network.The
interface which Apple TV uses is based upon Apple's Front
Row software for Mac OS X 10.4.

The content is arranged into six different groups, these are: Movies, TV Shows, Music, YouTube, Podcasts, and Photos. Along with options for the changing of settings Apple TV has many sub menus which each of the previous menus navigate to.
The
included Apple Remote is used to navigate
the menus remotely from anywhere in the room, giving you full
control from the comfort of your own sofa.
Apple TV can also display your photos
so you can give spectacular interactive presentations of your
holiday snaps with the Apple Remote.

videos are also capable of being played, video is streamed
seemlessly from your internet connection giving you a huge
selection of material to watch.
